Structure:

This course is part of an internationally recognised portfolio of exams and assessments, designed to encourage, motivate and reward students of all ages and abilities, providing a progressive structure for learning and achievement in dance.

Learning outcomes:

The student will:

  • Be able to demonstrate appropriate technique through the performance of a range of complex movement sequences and solo dances in ballet, character and free movement
  • Be able to show awareness of musicality through the performance of a range of complex movement sequences and dances in ballet, character and free movement
  • Be able to show awareness of performance skills in a range of complex movement sequences and solo dances in ballet, character and free movement

Teaching, learning and assessment procedures:

Successful students receive a result form, certificate and medal.
